Library

The library consists of around 2000 books. Several reports and journals are available. Library data is managed by using the E-Granthalaya software. GIPARD has also subscribed online access to ‘Economic & Political Weekly Journal’ and ‘Goa Kaido Act & Rules’.

The library houses collection of various books covering subjects like Public Administration, Rural Development, Good Governance, Computer Applications, Management, Gender Studies, Women and Children, Social Justice, Finance, Administrative Reforms, Human Rights, Environment, Disaster Management, Time Management, Personality Development, Goan Culture, etc.

Rules & Regulations

1. Books are issued to the staff of GIPARDand trainees during the Training Period
2. Mutilation, writing, scribbling, marking, cutting the pages are acts that will be severely dealt with.
3. Smoking, eating food and drinking beverages is not allowed inside the Library.
4. No material from the Library should be taken out without proper issuing at the circulation counter.
5. Keep the library clean. Use the dustbins kept in the library to deposit any waste material.
6. Use of cell phones is strictly prohibited in the library.
7. If any book is lost the borrower is liable to replace it.
8. Photocopy facility is available for reference books
